"Spies are for Pies!" Northern Spy's are regarded as the best variety for making pie. A late ripening, old variety that stores well and has a tart flavor that cooks excellently in pies and sauce.
Each box of Brookwood apples ships via UPS and comes in a tray packed box. All varieties are available in a single-layer box containing 22 apples (about 12 pounds) or a two-layer box containing 44 apples (about 24 pounds). To avoid the package being stuck at a shipping facility over the weekend, orders are only shipped on Mondays.
***You can now also add to your order a 12 ounce container of honey (from bees right here on our farm) or a five ounce packet of “Stir & Dip Caramel Apple Dip & Dessert Mix.” When ordering the 12oz Honeybear, we switch out two apples in its place.***
