Andrea’s Cinnamon-Apple Ham Topping
Ingredients
3 cups diced apples
1 cup cider
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp brown sugar
Optional 1/2 cup raisins
Recommended Apple - Nova Spy
Also good - Spigold, Jonagold, Empire
Instructions
Mix ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then turn down to medium heat. Simmer for 10 minutes or until apples have softened and only some liquid cider remains in the saucepan. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat. Serve on top of sliced ham. Makes 4-5 servings.
